Patient Data Import into Peer Review
After you have submitted a new peer review file, you can import additional files from other RL6 modules if the peer review investigation involves specific patient events that have been previously entered into the system. The person in charge of managing and maintaining RL6. Guide.
When you import a file from RL6 Risk, Claims, RiskRegister, RootCause or Feedback modules:
- The patient name appears in the Patients Involved section. When you select the patient, the patient demographics of the file (Patient Name, MRN, DOB, Address, Gender, Admission and Discharge dates) appear in the Patient Details section.
- The original file appears in the Linked Files
The electronic record created when a user submits an incident report, such as a fall or medication error, or when a patient provides feedback. Some organizations refer to files as events, reports, or cases. section in the File Notification menu. You can view the file by clicking on the file link.
Note: The Import File feature allows you to import and link one file at a time. You can also use the Add Linked Files feature to link multiple files at a time. However, the Add Linked feature will not automatically import patient or physician data from linked files into a Peer Review file.
